Hello there, beautiful soul!
Hope this message finds you well.
Almost there. Statement of Milestones exercise with Fund9 projects is about to come to a close. It’s a critical component in leveling up accountability in funded projects. The phenomenal effort by all the community members supporting work via their Challenge Teams in a joint effort with IO. The plan is for the initial distribution of funds (first tranche) to be executed this Monday, Nov 7. All projects have undergone this exercise quite well and we’ve all already learned a great deal about how this process can further improve and iterate in the future.
If you are curious about Voter rewards, I am afraid there’s still no update that we can share. However, work is underway to address it. Looking forward to being able to give the good news to everyone as soon as available. The importance of distribution here with utmost accuracy is critical.
We appreciate everyone’s patience throughout this month to ensure everything is ready for lift-off.
So what else has been taking place? Let’s review.

Repositioning Project Catalyst
This past week we’ve published a blog in the series to come summarizing the current state of the affairs. We’re hoping that communicating with the wider Cardano ecosystem will help with setting the right set of expectations.
And ultimately improve our collective awareness of where we are and how to move forward after having amassed so much experience over the past two years together. Make sure to fill in the feedback survey shared in the blog as this form will close within a few days.

Updates from PA/vPA Cohort
Outside of Catalyst funding, there are dedicated rapid-funding treasuries to be spent on improving various aspects of Project Catalyst.
The Project Catalyst Working Group (WG) is one example of such community-owned treasuries. The purpose of these working groups is to experiment with the side-treasuries model. The Project Catalyst WG is currently developing a bounty-based workflow to solve high-priority issues. Contribute and get rewards! Want to learn more? CONTINUE READING HERE
Any doubts? Suggestions? Let the community know via PA/vPA telegram chat or discord channel here. You should also visit community channels in the Catalyst Discord direct as well for more conversations.
There’s also another new initiative to help with raising the education level. How about taking this course? Read more about origins and purpose via this Cardano Forum post.

CIP milestone achieved
Last week, I’ve shared exciting news regarding new development/initiative with regard to Cardano Improvement Proposals. It is not directly related to Catalyst, but I encourage everyone to review and compare notes.
This week, Frederik Gregaard, who is Cardano Foundation’s CEO, shared an exciting insight into how the existing process works regarding Cardano Improvement Proposals (CIPs).
“The changes to the CIP process will empower the Cardano community. @Cardano_CF works to make it as easy as possible for community members to create the changes they want. We operate with complete transparency and ensure everyone can make an impact and an informed decision.” Catch his full tweet thread here.
Project Catalyst - Africa Vision
Lido Nation meets up with fellow dreamers in Nairobi - by Stephanie King.
“In Fund9 of Project Catalyst, Lido Nation was funded to continue our work in Swahili-speaking Africa with a “Learn to Earn” project. It was a great coincidence that I was in Nairobi at the Ngong Road Blockchain lab when I got the fateful email with Fund 9 voting results and found out we had won funding for this project. I wish everyone who voted for us could have witnessed the excitement at the Lab! Thanks for your votes, and have no doubt that Project Catalyst is changing lives…” CONTINUE READING HERE
