Hey,
After updating wallet through terminal (verifying checksum), daedalus 4.8.0 was verifying the blockchain from 0% all to 100%. This is not usually the case after un update, or im mistaken?

They included the newest version of cardano-node, which somehow stores the data differently. As the release notes https://iohk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4416804490393-Daedalus-4-8-0-release-notes say: “Note: This version requires a complete node re-sync which could take several hours”
