Hello, I installed the Daedalus wallet on my PC. I have created a password for my wallet, but every time I start my PC, when I launch Daedalus, my wallet opens without asking for my password. Is this normal?
I saw that the question was asked in December 2017, I wanted to know if there was new since?

It’s a spending password, this behavior is by design.
You can only view you balances without a password, but so can anyone else in the world, that’s why it’s left “unlocked”. When you attempt to send funds out of the wallet or generate new addresses, it’ll ask for the spending password.
