Daedalus problems

i have since weeks problems with daedalus. It does not connect to server. Worked good before. I wrote to support, but this guy, ia m not sure…he isn´t answering anymore. From IOHK.

I asked him:can i delete the daedalus wallet, cause i have the seed…installing a new one and everything is fine? He doesnt gave me an answer to that . He wanted to send me the bup-Folder for investigation. Since than no more news.
Iam not an expert, but i will not loose my Adas of course. So is here somebody who can help me?

Did you install the latest version? If not, download from here https://daedaluswallet.io/#download and install, and check if it works.

  • What operating system are you using? (e.g. Windows 10, macOS High Sierra)
  • What version of Daedalus are you running? When you start it, the version number is visible in the title bar, the latest right now being 1.1.4883 on Windows and 1.1.0.408 on macOS. Like @Jam35x said, you should have the latest installed.
  • Is Deadalus stuck on Connecting to network…?
  • Is your system clock accurate to a few seconds? Check on https://time.is/. Enable Internet time synchronization in your OS settings if the clock is not accurate.

By the way, if you’re sure you have the 12 recovery words saved (in the right order!), then it’s perfectly safe to uninstall Daedalus. Reinstalling is not likely to solve the Connecting to network… problem though.
