The Cardano Ghana Community in collaboration with the Chosen Fintech successfully hosted the first-ever Global Pizza Party in Tamale, Ghana, to commemorate the 2026 edition of Bitcoin Pizza Day, powered by PizzaDAO.
The event took place on the night of May 22, 2026, at SWAD Restaurant and brought together approximately 30 blockchain and crypto enthusiasts from Tamale and beyond for an evening of networking, learning, and community bonding.
The gathering created an exciting atmosphere where participants enjoyed slices of pizza while engaging in conversations around Web3, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, innovation, and the growing opportunities within the digital economy. The event also served as a platform for strengthening the local blockchain ecosystem and connecting like-minded young people passionate about emerging technologies.
As the first Global Pizza Party celebration of its kind in Tamale, the event marked an important milestone for the blockchain community in Northern Ghana and demonstrated the increasing interest in decentralized technologies among the youth.
Special appreciation goes to Mohammed Mustapha Yakubu, Cardano Ambassador and host of the event, for spearheading the initiative and coordinating the successful execution of the gathering.
