Goma Cardano Hub – Proposals for Fund 15

Dear Cardano Community,

As we approach the Fund 15 voting phase, we would first like to briefly introduce the Goma Cardano Hub.

Based in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, the Goma Cardano Hub is a community hub active since 2020, recognized for its consistency and strong commitment within the Cardano ecosystem. The hub has successfully delivered several educational and community-driven initiatives, including:

  • Francophone Cardano summits
  • Community workshops
  • Awareness campaigns focused on Cardano and Web3

According to recent Project Catalyst communication, out of 761 proposals reviewed, only 509 were deemed eligible for voting in Fund 15. We are honored to share that our two proposals are among those selected, highlighting their relevance and potential impact for the Cardano ecosystem.

Our Proposals

1. Cardano and Web3 Onboarding Program in the DRC

This program is designed to educate and onboard students in Goma to Web3, blockchain, and the Cardano ecosystem through structured and accessible learning programs.

It’s important to note that this is not a new initiative. Since 2023, we have been running this program at the end of each month, consistently engaging and educating the local community. For Fund 15, we aim to expand its impact and reach even further with the support of the requested funds.

2. Cardano Knowledges for French Speakers

This project focuses on creating and publishing educational video content and articles in French to inform, educate, and engage the Francophone community, addressing the lack of accessible Cardano education in French.

  • Expansion of Cardano into underrepresented regions and communities rich in potential
