When trying to move some Ada from one wallet to another using Yoroi, after entering my spending password I receive the error message “Incorrect spending password. Please retype.”
The issue here is that I am 100% certain that the spending password entered is correct. Not forgotten, mistyped, misplaced — it’s the one and only spending password I have associated with my Yoroi account.
The wallet appears to be whole, but I’m concerned it may have been hacked.
I’ve read the Emurgo instructions on restoring a wallet, but am a bit hesitant to proceed.
Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.
