Intersect Committee Election is Live

I did not plan to step into governance when I first discovered Cardano. My entry point was education and community work—running onboarding sessions, translating complex concepts, and helping students in Goma understand why this technology matters in real life. Over time, I realized that many of the people we onboarded had no voice in the spaces where decisions are made. That realization is why i am putting myself forward for the Intersect committees.

My experience in the ecosystem has been practical and grassroots. I organize recurring onboarding programs, support community participation though events, and work on initiatives that connect blockchain, AI, and social impact in Central Africa. This work constantly exposes me to the gap between global governance discussions and the realities of emerging communities trying to participate.

I am not applying because I have all the answers. I am applying because I spend most of my time listening to new entrants, students, and builders who want to contribute but often feel far from the decision-making process. I want governance to be easier to understand, easier to access, and more representative of the communities that are still being onboarded today.

Leading community programs has taught me how to coordinate teams, manage long-term initiatives, and keep people aligned around shared goals. It has also taught me humility—plans change, mistakes happen, and progress comes from collaboration and feedback.

If elected, my focus will be simple: improve accessibility, strengthen communication between committees and grassroots communities, and ensure that emerging regions are part of the conversation shaping the future of the ecosystem.

I am asking for the community’s support to contribute, learn, and serve

Given your significant contributions, particularly your remarkable impact on advancing Cardano on-chain governance in the Democratic Republic of Congo and across Africa, I am confident in your ability to serve effectively in the committees you have applied for.

Good luck, Martin, and know that my support is already assured.
