Jide Fashola joins the Cardano Foundation from Dublin, Ireland
Hi Cardano community!
My name is Jide, and I’m delighted to join the Cardano Foundation as an integrations engineer within the Technical Integrations and Exchange Relations team. I have lived in Dublin, Ireland for over a decade, although I am originally from Nigeria. I will be working alongside my former colleague Mel McCann, as well as John McPhearson, and Jeremy Firster on exchange integrations for Cardano.
My role will be similar to Mel’s, in that I will help our exchange partners navigate the process of integrating Cardano and trading our ada native token following hard forks and changes to the protocol. With the upcoming Mary hard fork, and the arrival of native tokens on Cardano, we expect there will be a lot of work to do in the coming months—which is a key reason why I have joined the team!
Having held previous roles at Smartbox, where I met Mel McCann, I have now decided to move into the blockchain technology sector—an industry I have long been passionate about. During my time with Smartbox, I organised and held meetup groups to discuss cryptocurrency and blockchain, growing my knowledge and spreading the word of decentralized technology.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing football, and I also take time to coach youth groups in my local area. I am looking to make a real impact within the Cardano ecosystem, which I believe has some of the best technology in place to lead the decentralized revolution.
I look forward to getting to know more of you in our community!
Excellent, congratulations, welcome to the Cardano Community.

Welcome Jide from a Dubliner. I’m desperate for help after sending ADA to my wallet. It got to Cardanoscan, but not to the wallet. I need some tech help as I’m scared to try to navigate it myself. Any chance you can connect me to someone? thnx Derek Daly
I did that and was advised to contact Voyager (the receiving wallet) which I did multiple times and can’t even get a response. I went the logical route, and am being forced to try to find any route of support.
