When i go to cardano.org website on my Ipad Pro 10.5 using safari browser, it displays the homepage and after 1 sec everything disappears and the screen is white and there’s nothing I can do. Please fix this, this bug may deter people wanting to learn about Cardano project
Welcome Simons and thanks for flagging this up!
Hello and welcome @sjomik2000,
is there anyone else who can either confirm or deny this problem on an iPad?
Same here on iPadOS 14 beta 4.
Thank you, looks like we have something. Any feedback helps. Basically iOS version is welcomed too.
Deleted everything containing “cardano” and “cloudfront” in Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data, then tried to load the site, still no luck. Tried in private browsing mode, that didn’t work either.
My user agent:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 11_0) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/14.0 Safari/605.1.15
Here are the warnings and errors from the console, the 4 errors don’t show up when visiting the site on desktop:

Still have the same issue
Okay, thanks again for raising this. So two things came together here. The first initial problem was related to a double caching issue on Cloudflare. We were able to reproduce that and could provide a fix. Usually there is no need to do something on your side and it should work.
At the same time the web developer discovered a change in how iOS beta handles something the website uses that might lead to a second problem. (not sure if @sjomik2000 also was on iOS beta) A few minutes ago this should have been fixed. I hope @hayamoto_jr can confirm this.
Works now. No errors on the console anymore, just warnings similar to the last seven I posted in my previous posts. The background graph-looking animation thing shows only as a static JPEG image, I guess this is intentional. The aspect ratio of this background image is off though, it appears stretched to a taller size on the website, it’s a bit ugly. Maybe because the iPad has a tall 4:3 screen.
Found a typo on https://roadmap.cardano.org/: Cardano was ranked as the most actively developed cryptocurrency project in 2019,according to [...]
, space missing after the comma. This text can be seen in at least five locations, under Byron, Shelley, Goguen, Basho and Voltaire.
I don’t use beta, I have the latest version of iOS and Safari. Issue still not resolved, white screen appears.
It would help if you can provide the specific iOS version. Some devices may have different versions of the “latest”, and it also helps people that will read this in the future.
Though that should not be necessary, you can try:
Settings App (with the gear) -> Safari > clear history and website data
Yeah, after seeing that it worked in private mode, I went back to regular mode, and it loaded the white page on my first try, I guess because the old version was cached by Safari. I had to hit reload in Safari’s address bar, then it worked.
I own iPad 10.5 Pro
The iOS version of my iPad is iPadOS 13.6
The Safari version I couldn’t find but since it is pre installed and you cannot update it on app market I assume it is the latest version.
I have done the ‘Clear History and Data’ still not working.
For me it works both on the current iPadOS 14 beta and on an iPhone running iOS 13.6.1, I even get the background animation on the iPhone. I don’t have an iPad running iPadOS 13 to test with. I tried both landscape and portrait orientations, seems to work either way.
@sjomik2000 Can you try if it’s white in private browsing mode too?
White in private browsing too
What is even worse is this weird spherical animation on the home page is making my cpu go to 100%
yep that’s because of the animation
