Payment vs Staking address where to hold the pledge?

Hello All,
following the CoinCashew guide, I’m on the final points ( wish me luck ) registering my pool. I just created my payment & stake addresses and already sent the 1 ADA only for the test to the payment address and I’m able to see the that 1 000 000 lovelaces (1 ADA) in the payment address. Soon I will send that 505 ADA to it for the pool registration deposit.

I have one more question - where I need to hold / send the ADA which I want to pledge - in the payment wallet or stake wallet?

The payment wallet (payment.addr if you go by the guide) will need to hold the pledge, the stake address will only receive rewards if i have understood it correctly :slight_smile:

@Freja, this is correct, pledge should be held in payment address and rewards will be held in stake address
