Did This meetup in DC ever happen? Are there going to be anymore that are going to happen? I am further north just at the Carroll county, Md/Pa. live an hour and a half or so away from DC depending I would like to definitely meetup.

Yes. We had some good meetings with people from all walks of life joining. It’s been slow lately though.
The next one will probably be closer to August, when Shelley testnet is up and running.
