Tips To Store your Crypto

I see many post regarding hacked wallet, lost their ADA, etc. I am thinking that probably there are something that you can do to protect your wallet. Here are some tips that might help to store your Crypto more safe and safe you from hacker.

  1. If you have an eidetic memory, probably the best thing to do is memorize all the seed phrase and use it each time you want to open your wallet.
  2. Buy Hardware wallet.
  3. Separate your wallet from your working computer. You can buy new hard drive (SSD) and install new OS (like Ubuntu/Centos/Fedora/Tails, Windows not recommend). Install your wallet there, and when you’re finish. Disconnect from your computer.
  4. Don’t use your working computer to store your wallet. You might not realized that probably there is a virus or malware inside. Remember that Virus/malware always come first before the anti-virus or anti-malware.

There is an alternative to having a separate hard drive and that is to install an operating system on a usb stick. You can run windows from a usb stick. This is useful if you own coins that are not supported by hardware wallets. Then transfer to the wallet in the usb stick.

Now you have two wallets, one of which is essentially a cold wallet. You can use the wallet on your regular hard drive to test things but you should only have small amounts of cryptocurrency there.

My option is hardware wallet. It’s more secure than a desktop wallet is a hardware wallet. These wallets are bits of hardware, external devices like USB sticks which you can carry around on your person. An added benefit of a hardware wallet is the complete anonymity with which you can transact.

Guys any of you have your white label crypto exchange ? I’m interested in having one.

How is a hardware wallet more anonymous than a seed phrase?
