Withdrawing rewards in Yoroi going missing

Hi,

I withdrew about 2000 in rewards thinking it would just add to my stack, but it went off to a set address (which I can’t see where to change) and no idea where it went.

When I try to copy the address to etherscan it copies in a different address and says the address not recognised.

Any Ideas?

I withdrew some of the ADA from the rewards by just using the withdraw function to MEXC, which was fine.

Is there also a way to change the address where the rewards go when you claim rewards? Because I don’t want to lose it again.

Okay, I think I figured it: it goes into the main balance but its already accounted for, so the rewards will zero down and the balance will stay the same minus the 0.17 ADA fee.

Thats absolutly correct.

There is also no reason to withdraw your rewards, as these reward will also generate new rewards even if you dont “claim” them.

Yes, that’s totally how it works.

Additionally:

If you really used etherscan: That cannot work at all. Cardano has nothing to do with Ethereum. To see what is happening on Cardano addresses, you would have to use a Cardano blockchain explorer: adastat.net, cardanoscan.io, beta.explorer.cardano.org, cexplorer.io, …
