I created a yoroi wallet and deposited some cardano. I wrote down and safely stored the seed phrase. When I went to stake I was asked for a “spending password” I don’t remember being asked for when I created the wallet. “No worries” I thought, I have the seed phase to restore the wallet. No such luck. I was asked for the spending password after entering the seed phrase (correctly).
Is my cardano trapped in this wallet forever? I was under the impression that when dealing with wallets the seed phrase over ruled all other passwords.

If you restore the wallet with seed phrases you just create a new spending password.
Each restore = new spending password.
As long as your keep your seed phrase safe you can always access your wallet.
