Yoroi, a light Cardano ADA wallet developed by EMURGO, derives its name from the incredibly ornate ancient armor worn by Japanese samurais. The armor was a combination of iron and leather exquisitely constructed for over a year. The name implies that Yoroi Wallet is strong and armor-like; tailored to safeguard one’s assets. Yoroi Wallet is a light wallet because it doesn’t need to download or synchronize the entire blockchain; once it is opened, it can send or verify the reception of transactions immediately. Thus, it is the ideal light wallet for Cardano; simple, fast and secure to use, creating an enhanced user experience.
