Could I also just stick with Daedalus for the entire process (unbox ledger, gen-24 words, store them, install Cardano app on ledger, hook it up with Daedalus, send ADA from current wallet (in Daedalus) to new wallet (in Daedalus)? Does that make sense? Basically taking ADALite out of the process and managing all within Daedalus (with the Nano).
Yes, that makes sense. Daedalus supports multiple independent wallets. The first one you already got. For the other, you click “Add wallet” and then “Pair” …
when you Ledger is connected, Daedalus will ask you to confirm the initial export of some public keys.
You do this on the device … and that’s it. Then you can transfer your ADA from one wallet to the other in Daedalus.

Looks like the next epoch is 279 which starts in seven days. I noticed 277 was ending in two days and also noticed 278 is not open for me to delegate to. Suppose I’ll wait until my Nano arrives, sort that out and then stake to 279.
