An ADA Wallet for Linux?

Hi everyone,

when will a Daedalus wallet be available for Linux? We really need one! We are not all Windows or Mac users.

I’m surprised a Linux wallet hasn’t been released yet. Any particular reason for this, eg security etc? Surely can’t be too problematic to compile one, or at least make the source code available for people to compile initially themselves.

Can be expected within a month, starting with the Cardano 1.4 release, which is now undergoing QA. See roadmap item “Daedalus for Linux”.

That’s good to hear, thanks for that. I know Cardano is a quality project so development is more rigorous and takes more time.

The source code is available for anyone who wants to compile it themselves :slight_smile:
