I do not use Linux at this time so I cannot state either way fmo, but this was posted in Reddit. Please shoot over there as this may not be accurate but is not positive.

@SebastienGllmt mentioned Linux builds in his July 2018 Progress Update (3:58).
IOHK’s been doing research on this in the past few months, trying to improve their stack to make Linux compilation possible. The goal is to have a Linux release with every Windows and Mac release.
