nope, follow this tutorial; first you will need to withdraw the rewards in order to send the rewards to another address

ok thank you, so the rewards have to be withdrawn from the stake.addr to the payment.addr before they can be moved to another wallet address?

Thank you for you help - both of you guys…it is such a great community, and we are lucky to have people like you that give up your time to help people who are still learning. So thank you, it is greatly appreciated. I got the ADA out and into my wallet. Hopefully I can get another stake pool going one day!

Yes I had already retired the pool. I believe my 500 ADA was returned to my payment address would that be correct?
I think yes, when you retired the pool, last epoch? you can check on pooltool.io → rewards data for taxes → and paste your stake or payment address
