Hi Cardano Community!
We are excited to announce that the Cardano Africa Academy successfully launched the Cardano Community in Nairobi, Kenya. Our first local event held on the 26th of April 2024 was a resounding success, bringing together Cardano ambassadors, community members, and enthusiasts eager to contribute to the growth and development of the Cardano ecosystem in Africa. We recorded a total of 21 participants attending.

Community Engagement
The event was a platform for fostering connections and sharing knowledge about the Cardano blockchain. It was heartening to see such a diverse group of participants, all united by their passion for blockchain technology and its potential to drive socio-economic transformation in Africa. Participants were exposed to the various cardano products and tools which we could all leverage on to build ourselves and society at large.
Building the Community
The primary objective of the event was to lay the groundwork for a thriving Cardano community in Kenya. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants were able to deepen their understanding of Cardano’s technology and explore collaborative opportunities.
Moving Forward
The success of this inaugural event is just the beginning. We are committed to continuing our efforts to grow and strengthen the Cardano Community in Nairobi and beyond. We invite everyone—developers, entrepreneurs, students, and blockchain enthusiasts—to join us in this journey.
