That’s your opinion Zenman. Reality is what you live. If your conduct or principals lack substance or value’s then bully for you.
The ends justify the means is not a valid argument here. Difficult conversations are a nescesary and unavoidable part of any healthy social construct. That is why it is so important to raise these issues in a constructive way. Unfortunately I don’t think that happened in this case. I would ask everyone including myself to do better next time.

Seen that you meeting me half way Donnybaseball i agree with you. Although i must still say i am very disappointed with CF staff on the M&C team, this did not have to come down this path if they did their job.
