Ethereum has the erc-20 technical standard for smart contracts (hence erc-20 coins), is there a protocol for Cardano? Meaning if you wanted to create a stable coin on the cardano blockchain (not sure if on SL or CL) what would that protocol be called and will there be atomic swap integration to conversion does not require ADA as an intermediary?
Sorry if these questions seem rudimentary!
I’m also interested in a comparison between Cardano and Ethereum. Maybe some will answer this revived post ?

BTW yes Cardano does have its own standard and yes it is better than what Eth offers. I believe there was a presentation on Cardano’s multi asset standard at the recent Cardano summit. I believe those videos are still up. Try this link to see videos on demand:
