pretty much where i stoppedā€¦was going to sync first then work on gLiveView
was following CC line by line.

i really appreciate your patience and assistance.

delete also that file from db folder and restart the node

this is the error Missing ā€œ/home/d/cardano-my-node/db/protocolMagicIdā€ **but the folder was not empty**

cardano-node.serviceā€¦ still not clear for me why u created the file here

i think there was a ref to it so i moved the file, instead of changing filepath

the db must be empty, now the node should start with no other issues

looks like the node started.

now, it will take more days or weeks to syncā€¦ but you can download the db and it will take only few hours

stop the node, download the files and move them inside db folder

I have a pool , and you can delegae till you will create the pool. click on my name and you will find infosā€¦ but its not necessarily as long you are setup ur own pool :smiley:

no because it will replace the original files
only 3 folders should be replaced:

  • ledger
  • volatile
  • immutable
