As scheduled and announced in the forum post, the Catalyst Working Groups Offline event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, took place on May 25, 2024. We had 17 attendees.
During the workshop, we divided attendees in to three mini groups to discuss the following topics:
Which parameters can be adjusted and why?
What do other ecosystems do that provide insights for experimenting and adjusting Catalyst Operating Parameters?
How are community contributions, such as community reviews and milestone proof of achievement, working, and how can they be improved in the future?
What new contributor roles, if any, should be part of Catalyst but currently aren’t?
What features would improve Catalyst that aren’t already available?
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tien commenced the workshop by introducing the agenda, Catalyst, and the Working Group’s objectives, Next, the participants were divided into three mini-groups.
Each mini-groups elected a leader and a scribe and discussed the five topics in Mini-working Group Task #1.
Using the Miro Board, discussions, collection of opinions, and notes were carried out smoothly.
Each group then voted internally to select the three most valuable opinions on each topic in Mini-working Group Task #2.
After the internal discussions, groups presented their ideas and opinions. The remaining members in the hall actively asked questions and contributed ideas to the presenters’ thoughts. Everyone debated passionately and enthusiastically, determined to find the most valuable opinions on each topic.
We then voted and selected the most valuable opinions.
In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the most active members.
We collected feedback and requests for improvement in the organization of the Catalyst Working Group.
The working session ended happily. We had dinner together and built stronger relationships through networking.
