It’s not synced yet. I tried deleting and restoring this morning, after it synced, it got the same result 0 ADA.
The thing is the recovery phrases worked for the original before the duplication. I verified this 3 months ago and after the duplication it only works for the duplicated wallet and not the original anymore. I never got the whole set up of naming wallet, setting password, receiving 24 recovery phrases when the new duplicated wallet appeared in my daedalus mainnet when i attempted to rename the original wallet.
Did u used rename wallet option … and instead to rename it … it was dupicated… weird… wait for the IOHK answer… keep us updated

I clicked on the blue button, and then all this madness happened. It duplicated the wallet with the new name I wanted instead of renaming the wallet.
How long does Support reply to a ticket? I have not received any reply from them.

Nothing actually. If I change the name and click on it now, it will not duplicate the wallet but it only changesthe name. That is the weird part about it.

select the old wallet with ada, click on settings then you have an option verify wallet recovery phrase
try to enter your actual password and check the message
I can delete the 0ADA wallet and restore it with the password and recovery phrases of the 1KADA wallet. But when i enter the recovery phrases and password to the 1K ADA wallet, it said the recovery phrases are wrong.
I have tried opened and restarted everyday since Saturday. That’s why I don’t want to risk deleting the1KADA yet. This is so frustrating

I said to delete the all 0 Ada balance wallets. keep only the wallet with ADA

did u deleted all wallets with 0 ADA? Now try to restore again the wallet with the 24 seed words
if the seed words are for the wallet with ADA u should receive a message, the wallet already exist
if you are not receiving this message and a new wallet is created (share an address here) then it means you have more than one seed words

I did delete the 0 ADA wallets and restore the duplicated wallet using the original wallet’s recovery phrases. so it did not say the wallet already exists and went on creating a 0 ADA wallet instead.
I don’t have other seed words which I can try, because I did not receive any recovery phrases when the new wallet popped up. Here is the receive address of the new wallet: addr1q8wzcrfn4aaefmwpk3g5w2kjlcgyprl3wjepa0lqyefkmfelvx0ye2m54jv6mqf54h8ygc0r83xelt3tae06jjl45m5qjawrgl. This somehow has my original recovery phrases and everything but not the ADA.
Basically there are 2 different wallets now, and I physically have only 1 seed word because that is all I received. That whole procedure was skipped when the new wallet appeared. Somehow the recovery phrase of the original wallet got transferred to the new one but the ADA remained in the original one. Really stuck here.
It’s been 3 days and nobody responded to my ticket yet. How long do I have to wait to get their reply? Do you know that?
weird… normally they should reply in 5 days, have patience… so you don’t have a ledger right?
but if you will try to duplicate the new one which has 0 ADA inside? it will create a new one right? and … so one… hmm and you are saying that the password is not recognized now … wait for an answer 
The duplication only happened once and I may lose my fund forever because now my recovery phrases does not work for the original wallet. Now i can change the name normally. That’s the weirdest part

Ok, delete again the wallet with 0 ADA and try to restore the wallet using import option
