How does one update the Daedalus Wallet? Does it automatically update when syncing with network? I assume the numbers at the top on my wallet indicate a version but I’m not sure if I have the latest nor do I know how to update it if necessary. I’m new and not very technical. Thanks in advance for any info.

It’s not completely automatic, when a new version is available it will ask if you want to install it.
The current version number starts 0.11.0.
If your’s is earlier, and for some reason you haven’t been offered the update, you can download for manual installation from here https://daedaluswallet.io/#download, in this case close Daedalus before starting the update installation.

Thank you immensely. I currently have 0.10.1#1.2.1.1768. When I download will I have to create another wallet, enter password or something and does ADA transfer to new updated wallet or do I have to do that?

Your wallet will be available in the new version, same as now.
Always have your 12 word backup phrase stored securely offline, as your computer or Daedalus can fail at any time. If you can, test restoring the wallet e.g. to another computer to make sure the phrase works. It’s okay to restore the same wallet to multiple computers.
With the next update there may be a mandatory wallet restoration step, because there will be some big fundamental changes to Daedalus, but that’s a one-time thing.
