Hallo Leute, meine Daedalus Wallet verlangt nie ein Passwort beim starten der Wallet. Ich habe aber beim Einrichten eines erstellt. Ist das normal? Ich habe sogar schon das erste Konto gelöscht und ein neues erstellt (wieder mit Passwortverschlüsselung), jedoch bleibt das Problem bestehen, dass wenn ich die Daedalus Wallet öffne, ich immer gleich den Inhalt meines Wallets sehe und keine Passworteingabe verlangt wird.

Hi folks, my Daedalus Wallet never requires a password when starting the wallet. But I created one while setting up. Is this normal? Das Kennwort benoetigst Du erst bei einer Transaktion. Zumindest in der derzeitigen Daedalus-Version. Wer also Zugriffsrechte auf den Desktop des PCs hat, kann die Wallet(s) mit deren Guthaben und Transaktions-Historie ansehen und neue Empfangs-Adressen generieren. Nur das Versenden erfordert das Kennwort.

You do not need the password until you make a transaction. At least in the current Daedalus version. Whoever has access to the PC’s desktop can view the wallet (s) with its credit balance and transaction history and generate new receiving addresses. Only sending requires the password.
