Intersect Development Update January 31st

The latest Intersect Development update covers key milestones in Cardano’s governance, including the successful Plomin hard fork on January 29, 2025. This transition to full on-chain governance means future protocol changes will be decided by the community.

The update also highlights a governance action submitted on January 30 to update the Cardano constitution, calling for DReps to vote. The proposed constitution, developed through global workshops, sets governance principles and processes. A 75% DRep approval and 67% support from the interim Constitutional Committee are needed for ratification.
