I sent them a message
hi there , well after 9 days i finally got true 3 different binance people and the 2 first couldnt help me and they had to transfer me to a higher level of admin and , he said that the Ddz address was not there , i have that feeling that my ADA is just sitting somewhere it was my mistake but this should be retrievable i just wish i knew how to do so , or how to figure what the hell have i done .
Binance was a total waste of energy and time after i chatted with them , 3 different people they where of no help at all. i will need to continue to try and find help . if thereâs anyone out there who can help identifying a certain address of a wallet and help me retrieve the funds if its possible from the deposit i will give a reward in ADA . its a Ddz Address as shown above in the thread .
thanks
Hi @116879 ,
As I said previously, you need to know who hold this address (the person or institution). In this case, you need to know where did you get this address in the beginning. And contact them, hopefully they will return your ADA.
Most of the people already use Shelley era wallet (start with addr1). The wallet with Ddz is a Byron era wallet. And in this case, most probably itâs Binance wallet address.
Good luck with your search. Hope you can retrieve your fund soon. Wish you a great day!
hi there Andreassosilo , i use to have a shelley era wallet and i switched to Yoroi could it be possible that i accidently did something when i switch wallets , im still trying to figure out what the heck happen , whatâs the best way to contact Byron era , iv been so busy with my work its crazy , thanks for your patience and thanks for trying to help me .
Byron era is a time period, not an entity. You should contact the recipient of the transaction. From what I understand you seem to believe the address belongs to Binance, so you know who to get in touch with. Itâs tragic if theyâre not helpful but nobody else can intercede here.
iâm honestly more confused than when i started . i was on the platform several months ago , i then found a pool and obviously made the transfer and iâm thinking i either used the old wallet prior to Yoroi then i switch to the new Yoroi wallet , i left it there thinking everything was done correctly , but sounds like iâm being SCAMMED BY BINANCE . Binance doesnât seem to care about its customers in the USA and Canada ,
i have several staking pools on Binance and different assets i should be removing everything out of Binance and find a better place to invest and purchase my Altcoins this is not good at all , if they cant help me , then maybe its time to help others by raising awareness about Binance and its poor customer service ,
Which transfer are you referring to ? If weâre talking about staking then no transfer is involved, you just delegate but the currencies do not move from your wallet. Are you sure your funds are not simply locked ? In which case you should see them on Binance app, if you go to âWalletâ then âEarnâ tabâŚ
Theyâre well-known already for their debatable customer service.
hi there the DdzFF address is of my last transaction ID from my addr1 address to the DdzFF address i have no recollection to how i got the address at the time i was trying to delegate and that was it. i left i there for a couple of months and recently wanted to see how it was performing and ever since these last 2 month or so i realised i did something wrong , contacting Binance last month chatted with 3 different customer service briefly and they were of no help , sorry for the delay i do search and rescue work and we dont always have GPS or cellphone signals , thanks again everyone for trying to reach out
i do not have a person or intuition all i have is all the transaction ID , thanks again i still do not know where else to ask , this is horrible
im not familiar with the english terminologies , but i will use the word transaction ID of the transfer from one address to the other address which as i said before it was sent to a DdzFF from my addr1 address i dont know how else can i find the name of the instition
Well, thatâs the issue here. Strictly speaking, there is no need to move Ada in order to delegate. However, in some cases, like when storing your Ada on an exchange, then you might first want to move the Ada to a wallet you have full control over before even trying to delegate. So, as I see it, either you did just that and in that case, the address belongs to you, or someone else asked you to send the money to his address, in which case, this is most likely a scam.
I think there is a shelley exchange address
ok , well im going with what you just said and i did not send it to anyone , as no one ask me to send anything , so with that being said . i am certain i did a huge mistake by not knowing what i even did , except for not sending it to any scammers . how do i even try to retrieve it , do i need to reinstall a old wallet or something
u sent the ADA back to the address from which u received them; in other words u sent them back to the exchange but to another wallet
can u log in ur account from exchange go to ada wallet - receive and check the address
U can share it here
hang on , so im not sure if it was from my trust wallet or my Binance account , im just trying to log into my BNB account , its been a few weeks brb
ok , i had to reset a new password , sorry about that , so now im in the BNB , but i do not have ADA wallet on BNB i only have ADA in Trust wallet
And in the transaction history, did you by any chance label your transaction ? I do not know if itâs possible on Binance though. And you didnât use âlocked stakingâ ?
Ok, then check the transactions history⌠u sent ADA to yoroi from Binance or from trust wallet?
