How do I sign messages to prove I have the private key of the address

I would like to know how to sign (and verify) messages with my private key. It seems I cannot find this feature in the Daedalus wallet.

AFAIK, In this version of the Deadalus, you cannot export the privite key. What message do you need to sign? Who asked for it?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Currently, I would like to use this feature to confirm I indeed control the private key of the address before sending large amount of ADA to it. Otherwise, I need to send some small amount of ADA from the address to verify I have the private key.

BTW, most cryptos have this feature.
