Hi there,

A friend of mine has ADA on his Atomic Wallet. He recently bought some NFTs using his Atomic wallet. Unfortunately he has no way of moving the assets he bought, because the Atomic Wallet doesn’t have these functionalities.

He has access to the private keys (both legacy and non-legacy). Is there a way to recover his wallet on Daedalus somehow? If not, are there development tools that we could turn to, to help him out?

He sees his assets on the blockchain, but he can’t interact with them through Atomic Wallet.

Wait for the smart contracts and I think he will be able to move the NFTs

Hey there! Are there any sources that you could give me on this? Is Atomic Wallet planning on implementing this functionality in the near future?

Thank you for your answer in advance!

All exchanges and wallets should be upgraded to alonzo

Hi there.

Newbie here.

I transferred some ADA from Yoroi to a hardware wallet. Unfortunate,l I did not realize that there was an NFT transferred during the same transaction.

Now, I cannot move my ADA out of my hardware wallet.

I do have access to my private key.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

What do you mean by “to a hardware wallet”? To have an address to send to, you must have connected the hardware wallet to Yoroi (or another wallet app). And from there, you can also send the NFT back.

Connect your hw wallet on adalite.io and try from there

The hardware wallet device I use is called BC Vault. When I access the device, I am able to interact with my wallet containing ADA. The wallet only shows me the current amount of ADA I have. It does not display the NFT. So when I try to send any amount of ADA, I receive an error. I’m told by the BC Vault folks that they are attempting to find a solution which will allow for separation of the NFT from my funds. In the meantime, I was seeing if there was another option available since I have access to the raw private key.

Ah, interesting, the most used hardware wallets – Ledger and Trezor – do not support Cardano directly, up to now, but „only“ by connecting them to one of the usual Cardano wallet apps.

It looks like BC Vault does not deal with native tokens well, in general or in your case. Probably, their support can help you better, then.

If you have the private key (the others never export it from the hardware device, because that is the security of hardware wallets), you could try to build a transaction with the command line utilities and sign it with that private key (if it is in a format that cardano-cli understands).

I was searching bc vault on here and found your issue… I too cannot send out from bc-vault. At first they said it looked like the cardano network as of recent but it seems the network is once again faster. I can push ADA to the hardware wallet no problems. However I can’t send from the wallet to binance or coinbase. I opened a ticket and it’s still open with them… Just glad to see I’m not the only one  The interesting thing is… I can enter my byron addresses on cardano scan and can see balances etc… Shelly however shows zippo. I thought these addresses were supposed to be interchangeable. I am just trying to be patient. Maybe bc vault releases a patch?
