That sounds … not so good. You cannot see them even on addresses that you sent to (from an exchange or something like that)?
Every transaction that happened on the Cardano network, every address that was used, should really be visible on Cardanoscan.
Interchangeable is that nearly all wallet apps – Daedalus, Yoroi, ccvault, Adalite, Nami, Typhon, … – can deal with the same seed phrases and can be connected to Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets. For Ledger and Trezor it is also known, how they derive the keys from their seed phrases.
In principle, we could rescue funds on Ledger and Trezor without access to their hardware devices. (The security of a hardware wallet would, of course, be lost, because the seed phrase would be given to a computer, but for an emergency that might be okay.)
Might well be that BC Vault does something better by not even using the thing with the seed phrases and the keys derived from them, by not integrating with the wallet apps that everybody uses, but it surely reduces the number of people that can help other than their support.
I know they recently added cardano staking to the bc-vault… I am no pro for sure. The interesting this is I can receive on the bc-vault wallet to either byron or shelly (Have the option in the wallet to decide which address). When sending however. It’s fixed to shelly only (At least as far as I know when poking all around the software) I currently have a ticket in with the maker. I used to have my cardano in adalite using Trezor to authenticate. I switched to bc-vault… I’m only currently having the problem with cardano (ADA) as I have other cryptos on the wallet. There was a software update recently which allows for cardano staking… maybe this is causing the issues…
Oh, I also should mention… they find the addresses I meant zippo as far as transactions on the shelly address on the hardware wallet and/or showing 0. I suppose because the transactions aren’t pushing to the exchanges… it shows nothing…
hi all, anybody knows where to import a 121-character Cardano private key?
As I commented in your other post, your 121-character key from Zelcore is not a valid Cardano key.
