If the transaction has been confirmed by the network, theres sadly nothing you can do.

I would definitly recommand to report it to your local authorities.

Could you describe in detail how you went about discovering this? Did you do any transactions? How did you install Yoroi, etc. This will help us assess if anything we should watch out for.

Alvin, I just wanted to offer some words of support. I am truly sorry to read this, and I want you to know that while absolutely devastating to be sure, that you will rebuild. You did it once, you will do it again. I can imagine you’re dealing with a lot right now, and if you need to talk, I am here.

Similar thing just happened to me. I just discovered a transaction (not initiated by me) on my Daedalus wallet that moved 95% of my ADA on Jan 10, 2025 (5 days ago).

Sorry for your loss-I have zero idea how my account info was compromised…

I’d say about a year ago I reinstalled Daedalus onto a new laptop, using my recovery keys and re-setting my admin password in the application but haven’t done anything with it since except changing my staking delegate in January. Now-poof…just gone-over 2K (so not on the scale of yours, but still infuriating).

I love crypto…except for the scams/hacks. Have probably lost over 10k to scams in the crypto realm over the past 5-10 years. It’s painful and I’m not dumb…these losses are more painful the older we get.

Slowly learning to stick to only BTC and MSTR-all the other shit coins and yield scams are more trouble than they are worth.

It infuriates me and keeps me up at night knowing that these people can just steal from hard working regular people that are just trying to carve out their place in this world. It makes me so angry. I am so sorry for what has happened to you. It can be extremely challenging to nail down the source, too. Was it a keylogger? Was it a phishing website? Tough to say. But definitely utilize all the OpSec and InfoSec tools that are available to you to try to insulate yourself as best as possible. I’m preaching to the choir. I know you know. I am sorry man.
