Please help.... some help in locating my Ada

Hello All

I would really appreciate some help with this, I loaded my ADA onto a standard trezor wallet, at the bottom of the page, the updated version (new trezor suite) was highlighted so opened the Suite thinking it would be easier to navigate around; before doing so I decided to create a passphrase(layer of protection) when I loaded the trezor suite my other coins were there but not my ADA coins. I went through the settings to make sure I could see my coins they are there but still no ADA coins. I have opened and closed the New Trezor suite numerous times just to ensure I have not overlooked something? My question is could someone please advise me on how I could recover my ADA coins.

I don’t know about Trezor, but the LedgerLive desktop app cannot display ADA either. Your coins are on the blockchain and not on the device. Try connection your Trezor to ADALite.io you’ll probably see them there.

passphrase is an extra variable that basically changes all 24 word seed

Thanks for getting back to me, I agree with you about the passphrase the one thing that bugs me is that it did not affect my other coins in the new Trezer Suite they are showing when I log in.
My concern is how can I work towards finding my Cardano coins which are not showing, can someone kindly help?

Hi @craigpeter ,

try to download Daedalus desktop app or Yoroi wallet or Adalite wallet. Try to pair your Trezor there like what @tomdx told you above. Do not create new wallet, but click Pair. If your Trezor still has the same seed phrase, it should show your ADA in one of those wallet.

Note: be careful with scam apps … make sure to download from official website

Hi Craig,

How did you load your ada? The trezor suite cannot show ada. You need daedalus or yoroi.

I am guessing you had daedalus or yoroi wallet with your ada in there before you started is that correct?

Thanks for getting back to me I am running Daedalus first it takes quite a while to run through.
I will update you once I complete running them

You can try on adalite.io

It’s faster and still secure

I really appreciate your help I have run Daedalus desktop app, Yoroi wallet and Adalite.io wallet and found nothing. The Daedalus wallet took ages to run but I remained patient.

The passphrase is what caused the problem as soon as I created it I no longer see my cardano coins, I had no problem seeing my other coins ,only my Cardano wallet was showing zero balance ?

Yes, because now ur cardano wallet is hiden
Can u try to connect the trezor on adalite.io?
If still not working contact trezor support team; they can help u

As @Alexd1985 said above, could you try to download official Daedalus dekstop app/Yoroi/Adalite wallet, and try to pair your Trezor there. Remember “Pair”, not creating a new wallet.

It will restore your ADA if previously you have Cardano wallet in your Trezor. Just try it first. Hope it helps.

Your ADA are on blockchain, u can’t access them with trezor because by activating passphrase u created a hidden wallet…
Someone with trezor can help u

Did u contacted yoroi team?
Also did u tried to uninstall yoroi app from chrome and install again?

Hi Alex

I just found a youtube video showing how to bypass the passphrase by removing the cable and re-entring again, by doing so I have gone into default login and found my ADA.
