I want to retire my stake pool, and recover my deposit. But the instructions here: Retiring a Stake Pool - Stake pool course
Are apparently out of date since the current software output does not match what the instructions said. Due to the sensitive nature of the operation I would like to know how can I get an accurate guide on how to retire my stake pool?

you could also use the stakepool operator scripts for that. the only thing you need are your cold keys, rename them into the right format. and a small wallet that will pay for the transaction fee.
