Can you please walk me through this? My hard drive has been replaced, all ADA funds are 0 now on yoroi extension. Wallet restore was successful. Why is my ledger not showing ADA account. What to do next?
You have to migrate from Byron to Shelley wallet.
Tried, failed. It says, reward address is empty. Now Yoroi keeps syncing, but nothing happens. That phrase was double-checked and taken down to paper.
You may want to restore the wallet on Adalite and check if its working there.
Adalite also shows zero balance and when restoring at the beginning, it does not ask if I want a Byron or Shelley wallet. Maybe a fully syncronised Daedalus wallet? Be advised, I have restored the wallet numerous times, also did something with nano s, where cardano can be installed, account does not appear however. Is this a lost battle?
Ah do you use a Ledger device? If so you dont have to restore the wallet, just connect the Ledger via Adalite.

Problem solved. I restored a previous wallet, this had another phrase. Yes, I’m this dumb. God save Cardano!

Man can you tell how execly migrate from Byron to Shelley wallet? Where get Byron wallet (to send ada to new wall). My new shelley wallet do not see ballance from byron mnemonic
Try to use Adalite.io --> restore your Byron wallet --> convert your stake to stakable --> there you have your Shelley wallet.

it was my mistake in the mnemonic phrase, I found it and everything worked fine. thanks for the help

I restored my Yoroi wallet after changing phones and all I see is an old wallet from which I staked my ADA. But the balance is 0.
Now if it doesnt restore subwallets, thats my fault, but it is really really stupid. I never remember there being another mnemonic for the other subwallets and I show transfers intrawallet.
To resolve your issue successfully. Download the Daedalus application to your Computer. You will need to set up your ledger on Shelley. You want to want to set up your hardware (ledger or trezor) with that system. Once complete, you should see ADA in there.
Next… download Yoroi Wallet on your phone. Make sure you select Shelley and choose to connect with the hard wallet. When it arrives at the wallet name section… (This is your issue)… It will autofill the default name… Erase it… go back to Daedalus which shows you ADA. It should show the name of the Yoroi wallet. Type exactly what you see there. It will link it and you should see your ADA too.
Note Yoroi and Trezor work like batman and robin. If one has an issue, the other one can help you move forward
