Restoring Nami wallet on another device after unrecoverable crash

My laptop crashed and HD has failed/is unrecoverable.

I had a Nami wallet extension on my Chrome browser on that laptop.

When I went to restore Nami wallet on Chrome on my desktop it only gave me 2 options: create a new Nami wallet or import Daedalus or Yoroi.

Is there a way to RESTORE/ACTIVATE Nami wallet on another device? I have my address, seed phrases & password but there just doesn’t seem to be an option to restore the wallet.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

Use restore option. Should be available for all wallets.

Cheers,

Hi. Thanks for your quick reply. Where to find the restore option?

Click on “Import”.

You don’t need the name or the password. You can set new ones on every import.

(… as can anybody else. That’s why it’s important to protect your seed phrase. It is sufficient to completely control your wallet.)

It looks like for NAMI import = restore

“Import” is actually the better name in my opinion.
