Send ADA from Daedalus to Coinbase wallet

I can’t figure out how to send ADA from my Daedalus wallet to my Coinbase wallet. Any help, please?

Are you talking about Coinbase exchange or do they also have a standalone wallet?

I downloaded the coinbase wallet app. I have a coinbase account and coinbase wallet account .

Could you please send a screenshot from wallet? You can also use the privat message for that.

I downloaded the app “Coinbase” and created an account.
Then, I downloaded the app “Wallet” that it is the coinbase wallet and linked these 2 accounts.

Now, to send ADA I need to find on my coinbase wallet the name of this wallet (address) but I can’t find in any place in the app address that start with addr as it should be.
Any other address there , the Daedalus wallet say “please enter valid address”

As i said, would be helpful if you post a screenshot because im not familiar with that wallet.

maybe @HeptaSean already took a look into this wallet and can help out.

Yes, I have heard of that thing. Was not impressed. Awfully slow app, as confusing and messy as every multi-chain wallet app.

And it doesn’t seem to even support Cardano at the moment (“Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Dogecoin, and every ERC-20 from Aave to ZRX” https://www.coinbase.com/en-de/wallet does not include Cardano). So, of course, you cannot find a Cardano address in it.

Most used wallets for smartphones are probably Eternl and Vespr.

So you say that I can’t transfer ADA to coinbase at all?
Can I buy instead of the ADA something else and then transfer it to coinbase?

No, you just can’t transfer it to Coinbase Wallet.

That is something different than the Coinbase Exchange.

Coinbase Wallet is a non custodial wallet, while Coinbase itself is an exchange where you can buy/sell/trade cryptocurrencies.

You can send your ADA to Coinbase to sell/trade but you cant send them to Coinbase wallet to manage them there.

I totally discourage someone from using that Coinbase wallet. It has messed me up one day and have never recovered my assets. Try and use other wallets
