Step by step installation of daedalus wallet

1ST PART INSTALLATION(WINDOWS)

1. Go to this link, https://daedaluswallet.io/
2. Click on Download button.
   
   
3. Choose your platform (Windows / macOS / Linux)
   
   
   
   3a. In my case, I’m using Windows 10, once download is done, click on the downloaded file.
   
   NOTE: Installer will ask “Do you want to allow this app to make changes on your device?”
   Click “YES” button
4. Choose Install Location. (I used the default destination)
   
   4b. Wait for it to finish installing.
   
   4c. Click on “Close” button.
   
5. Now, look for the Daedalus icon, easiest is to find it at your desktop. Double Click the icon to run it. Below is the default Daedalus icon.
   
6. When you double clicked the icon, wait for for a prompt then click YES.
   
   CONGRATULATIONS!! Done on first part. Now, let’s move to second part.

2ND PART INSTALLATION(DAEDALUS WALLET)

1. Choose your Language.
   
   
2. Read or Scroll down till you reach the last part then agree with terms of use. Then click continue.
   
   
3. Send logs to the central server, I clicked on continue(Don’t worry, they won’t steal your ADA).
   
   
4. Relax, see a movie, sleep, chat with your friends how awesome Cardano is, until Syncing blocks are completed.
   
   

3RD PART SHOULD BE ON HOW TO SETUP YOUR WALLET… (coming soon)

GREAT… done with syncing. we can proceed to 3rd step, creating your wallet.

1. Click on + Create a new wallet, Give your wallet a name for easy reference. Then, click on button, Create personal wallet
   
   

2.NOTE. DON’T SHOW THIS STAGE TO ANYONE. I’m only showing it because I’m using a test wallet and for sake of showing it. I will not use this wallet as I already got one. Put a check on Please make sure nobody looks into your screen unless you want them to have access to your funds.

2a. You can also Enable Password for your wallet.

DON’T SHOW THIS RECOVERY PHRASE TO ANYONE:

Then, click on Yes, I have written it down button.

3. Complete the RECOVERY PHRASE in correct order. Then click confirm once done
   

   

4. Tick two check boxes then click confirm button.
   

   

Congratulations!!! Wallet completed!!! Enjoy moving your coins…
