There are no server issues with Yoroi at the moment so it should connect just fine. I’ve heard that some people in China or Russia had to use a VPN to connect though
I am in Czech republic. No VPN. Mainnet Yoroi is working fine, but the testnet one (2.4.0) won’t connect. Not sure what the issue is.
One of the requests returned server error:
Request URL: https://shelley-itn-yoroi-backend.yoroiwallet.com/api/v2/pool/info
Request Method: POST
Status Code: 500
Remote Address: 52.72.176.153:443
Referrer Policy: no-referrer-when-downgrade
{"code":"Internal","message":"Error querying pool info from DB"}
EDIT: started working after one hour. Took couple of refresh attempts. Resolved.
it’s been working much better today…
I’ve had similar issues with ITN as many people have mentioned on this forum, but managed to get Daedalus Rewards to connect for a little while. It was enough for me to claim my testnet Ada to a rewards wallet and try to delegate to a pool. Since then I haven’t been able to connect to the network anymore. Have tried with 2 different computers, dozens and dozens of times, both get stuck syncing the chain but at different percentages.
Then I decided I’d stake with Yoroi Testnet instead. Here I used the 15 word phrase to restore my wallet, and it correctly found my balance (I’ve hoarded Ada since 2017 and I’m now desperate to get staking). When I clicked to transfer these tAda to my newly created Yoroi wallet, it says “success” but balance still stays at 0.
I’m waiting for the next update to the node software and pray it will finally solve the networking issues.
Use ITN-Yoroi or wait for the updated Version of Daedalus… New ITN-Daedalus comes in a few days…
