Wallet missing after Daedalus Sync!?

Hello All,

I have just synced the latest version of Daedalus and one of my two wallets therein is missing.

Any ideas as to solve this? I’m trying to keep cool but there is a considerable amount of ada therein.

Remain calm everyone, crisis averted.

I re-synced and the wallet has returned.

Does anyone else find this version of Daedalus extremely resource hungry?

Daedalus is a full node. It downloads the whole blockchain. If you want a lighter wallet without a local database you can use yoroi or adalite

Hi There ADA4Good,

I like the idea of using a full node. This latest update really seems to be hogging my processor though and slows every other app down while it is running.

Golly! When I did my daily sync this morning Daedalus says I’ve no Shelley wallets at all and that I should create a new one.

I’ll reopen and sync again and I’m sure it will come good but my this version seems very buggy to me.

You got your recovery phrase right, just in case?

I don’t experience problems with daedalus really. But since it is a full node it will require quite some hard drive space and other resources.

Have you checked of your hard drive is not full? Or maybe you got an older computer?

Yep recovery phrase stored very safely.

The computer is getting on a bit and yes the SSD is getting quite full.
