The Cardano Community Team would also like to thank the Ambassadors for all their continued efforts and participation in sharing their stories with us. :writing_hand:

Please read all about Diego Macchi down below! :open_book:

Diego Macchi, Ambassador:**

Diego recently joined the ranks of Cardano Ambassadors. Many of you may know from his wonderful contribution in the ecosystem - mainly from his work with TxPipe!**

Ready? Let’s Dive Right In!

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What is your background?

I live in Argentina and hold a degree in Business Administration. I have worked in large companies and have also founded and managed my own ventures.

2) How did you get interested and involved with Blockchain/Crypto?

I discovered Bitcoin around 2018 and immediately began deepening my knowledge of blockchain technology in general, until I discovered Cardano in 2020, and that’s where I stayed.

3) Why Cardano?

I was studying technical analysis remotely during the COVID period when a fellow student told me about Cardano. I started exploring its concepts more deeply, and two things immediately caught my attention:

The eUTXO model, which I already understood quite well from Bitcoin.
How early the project was at the time, combined with a structured and ambitious roadmap.

4) How are you contributing to the Cardano Ecosystem as an Ambassador?

I usually attend many events here in Argentina (Cardano and non-Cardano related), and I also try to travel abroad at least twice a year to connect with the community and builders around the world. I’ve also been fortunate to organize some events here in Argentina.

5) What is your future vision for the Cardano Ecosystem?

I believe the biggest opportunity we have as an ecosystem lies in enterprise and government adoption, rather than in DeFi (Ethereum) or as a blockchain specialized in payments and transfers (Ripple).

6 ) What is your personal message to the Cardano community?

Since we reached the all-time high in 2021, many people have been — and continue to be — overly focused on the price. I’m not saying price isn’t important, but one thing should be clear: we are building our future — for the next 5, 10, 15, and 20 years — regardless of short-term price movements. Better days in terms of price will come. In the meantime, let’s stay focused on building that future.

We’re grateful for the continued contributions of motivated community members across the Cardano ecosystem. Thank you for reading, and we invite you to engage and follow our Ambassadors’ work. :100::muscle:

Until next time, with new people and new Ambassador Stories!
