A few days ago, I shared a snippet of the CATS event setup.
Today, I’m proud to share what it became.
The event opened with beautiful Kenyan cultural dance and song.
It wasn’t just a welcome; it was a reminder that Cardano grows within cultures, not outside of them.
Local energy. Global movement.
It was inspiring to see the community stepping into its role in shaping Cardano’s future.
- Real conversations.
- Real questions.
- Real engagement.
Community:
One of the most powerful moments was the breakout session on governance. A vibrant gathering of builders, thinkers, and community members.
The room was alive.
One of my personal highlights was meeting amazing community members from across Africa and beyond; including a passionate Cardano builder from Congo. @mwatsimulamo
This is what decentralization looks like.
Different countries. Shared vision.
Another meaningful moment for me was connecting with one of the community builders and volunteers @Gopher_cardano who helped shape the experience behind the scenes.
Leadership in this ecosystem doesn’t always stand on the main stage. Sometimes it’s in the quiet coordination, the steady commitment, the willingness to serve.
Moments like this remind me that Cardano’s future is being built by people who care deeply about the mission and the community around it
We had been waiting and preparing for months.
Seeing everything come together successfully was a proud moment.
This event was a success because of:
- An incredible organizing team
- Dedicated volunteers
- A supportive and engaged community
The summit served to remind us that Cardano is not just infrastructure, its a whole lively ecosystem. What started as an idea became a real moment for the ecosystem.
Grateful to have volunteered.
Grateful to be part of this ecosystem.
More moments ahead.
