Hello, I purchased some Cardano a long time ago, around January this year, and I have only been able to open the Daedalus wallet once or twice. The percentage always drops whenever I try and open it up. Does anyone else have this problem? How long does it take to load? I’ve left my computer on for 24 hours and it still wouldn’t open.

Deadalus is a so called full node and needs to sync with the blockchain before you can use it. (so bascially it needs to download something, every time)
The blockchain always grows - it’s normal that the percentage drops when you try to open it after a while. What does the number say? 24 hours is long but this depends on your internet connection. Is it bad?
You could switch to Yoroi Wallet https://yoroi-wallet.com it does not require you to download the whole chain. (someone else does this for you, a so called light wallet)

That should offer a number of options (it’s new and I haven’t checked it out myself yet).
Hopefully you will have the 12 words seed phrase stored safely somewhere.
If I were you in that situation I would either (a) remove it completely including the folder %APPDATA%\Daedalus (assuming Windows) then download and install the latest version from https://daedaluswallet.io/#download and restore your wallet. Or (b) try Yoroi, which doesn’t have to download the blockchain (delays in which cause that percentage drop), and which can restore a Daedalus wallet, available here: https://yoroi-wallet.com/#/
