Daedalus wallet locked me out: restore isn't working

Hello Support.

I have been having issues with opening my wallet for almost 6 weeks. So I deleted the log files as suggested on the forum and the wallet loaded for the first time is 6 weeks. But after loading, it asked I create a new wallet or restore. I tried to restore since i have 2 wallets and it’s showing error with a notification that i’m trying to restore an existing wallet.
Please how do i rectify this. I use a MacBook Pro.

These recurring wallet issues are very discouraging.

I believe you need to delete the DB and Wallet folders. Best to uninstall Daedalus altogether, removing any/all associated files and folders, reinstall then restore.
