Daedalus Wallet: Log: Certificate Expired

Hi all,

I’ve bought me some ADA back in 2017. I’ve stored it in Daedalus 1.0.3619 on OSX. The logs state the following:

[2022-02-08 11:51:07:0216] [debug] CardanoClientApi::syncProgress called
[2022-02-08 11:51:07:0242] [error] CardanoClientApi::syncProgress error: {
  "stack": "Error: certificate has expired\n    at Error (native)\n    at TLSSocket.<anonymous> (_tls_wrap.js:1060:38)\n    at emitNone (events.js:86:13)\n    at TLSSocket.emit (events.js:185:7)\n    at TLSSocket._finishInit (_tls_wrap.js:584:8)\n    at TLSWrap.ssl.onhandshakedone (_tls_wrap.js:416:38)",
  "message": "certificate has expired",
  "code": "CERT_HAS_EXPIRED"
}

Does someone have an idea how to resolve this matter? Time is in sync.

Looking forward to your replies!

Id recommand to restore your wallet on adalite.io, migrate then to a shelley wallet and reinstall the newest version of Daedalus (if you want to use Daedalus).

I tried to restore my wallet in Mainnet but it did not take my seed. Is there a way to restore the old application?

What do you mean? Did you try to restore it on adalite.io? This is a light client which is able to manage old byron wallets.

Daedalus Mainnet which is version 4.8; but was unable to restore as it did not accept my seed.

Did you get any error message?

The errors are not important. I need the 1.x version to work.

Is that possible or is my wallet down the drain?
