Did I just lose all my ADA ? Please help

I was recovering my Byron wallet, which I created back in 2019 and sent some ADA to it. It showed my balance and a transaction at around 30% of the sync, but it was syncing very slowly. Then I realized I was using a really old version of Daedalus from 2021. I uninstalled the old version, deleted everything, and downloaded the latest version. I used my 12-word recovery phrase, and it started to sync. It passed more than 50% but didn’t show my balance or the transaction.

I have used this recovery phrase regularly every year, and it always worked and showed my balance and the transaction around 30% of the sync, so I guessed maybe I should wait until 100%. It synced 100% and still showed a 0 balance and no transaction. I used the correct steps to recover my Byron wallet on Daedalus. I tried other light wallets, but none of them seem to support the Byron era anymore. I tried two times to delete and sync everything again, which took me 8 days, but still 0 balance.

At this point, I am really desperate. Did I just lose all my ADA? Is there any way to recover them? I really appreciate your support.

Most of them never did. Yoroi is the only one that removed Byron support.

Adalite https://adalite.io/ and Medusa https://adawallet.io/ are the only two that still support Byron. You can try with them.

If you know your address(es), you can also look at explorers – https://adastat.net/, https://cardanoscan.io/, https://beta.explorer.cardano.org/, … – if your ADA are still on there.

If they are, you should probably create a Shelley wallet as soon as possible and move assets over there – ideally with a hardware wallet. And do yourself a favour and use a light wallet. Daedalus is not worth the sync times and disk space.

It will be best to check with the explorer
I understand how that feels when it looks as though you have lost your assets. I use Yoroi and per my experience I don’t find such challenges
