Do additional pool owners need to register a stake address?

Looks like pooltool just got fixed. Although it says I’m not meeting my pledge now (I don’t meet the old pledge, I do meet the new pledge… Does the pledge change take effect quicker than delegation changes? I assumed they’d both happen together if made at the same time). The other sites all say I’m good, only pooltool says not met.

Edit: It’s also only showing one owner (me) now, whereas the other sites are still showing both :man_shrugging:

on pool.vet it’s showing ok… I don’t know if pooltool is fixed 100%
check the both addresses on cardanoscan.io

Yeah, the addresses both appear elsewhere (like cardanoscan). I’m going to assume everything is fine, and the websites that show issues that don’t match the others are likely just out of date or broken. I guess it’s just a waiting game now :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

So, I think I know why the error on pooltool.io … it’s because the actual pledge 50k not met because u have only 40k… tonight when the epoch 256 will start the pledge will be updated on pooltool.io to 40k and it should be met

Yeah, though the other sites seem to use the updated value so it’s strange pooltool does not. It seems to be using the live balance of the owners (40k) not the active snapshot (there was £50k at the last epoch boundary), but it’s using the pledge amount from the snapshot. It’s weird to make it look like a pool isn’t meeting its pledge when it did for the current epoch and it is for the next.

Not a big deal though, I also suspect it’ll correct itself tonight :slight_smile:

Yes, but… it is useful somehow because there is a rule:

if u want to lower the pledge, you need to declare new pledge/register the pool again with the new pledge and wait 2 epochs till u will can withdraw the funds from the wallet, otherwise the pool will not get rewards even if it will create blocks;

  • lower the pledge/ register the pool with new pledge
  • wait 2 epochs
  • withdraw the funds

Isn’t that the same for the withdrawn funds though - the snapshot used for the following epoch is the one taken at the previous boundary, before the withdrawl? My “active stake” is enough to cover the original pledge.
