Yes, but you should know that decreasing the pledge may cause problems, if you withdraw the ADA from the payment address immediately, u should keep the ada 2 more epochs after the snapshot otherwise u will loss the rewards… if u don’t expect rewards then u can withdraw anytime…

Ok, just in case the stake pool doesn’t work out, it would appear you need quite a lot staked to make it profitable
Does this mean I haven’t pledged enough? I sent over a 1000 ADA into the pool, can I easily pledge the other 500?
Can i just nano edit the params.json file and rerun the build-raw transaction command?

You send 1000 but you know that u paid 500 ada for registering ur pool?
If u want to pledge 1000 then u need 1000+ few ada for transactions fees

When you say pay 500 to register, does that ADA get sent to Cardano, the rest I can recover if I want?
U pay 500 when u register the pool+ fees ( but you will get back when u will retire the pool)
The rest of them u can recover any time

Do you know the syntax for sending ADA from the cli to a wallet?
Hmm I’m affraid not… u must search in guides how u should create transactions… etc… I have another setup and I am not fammiliar with creating transactions manually… and I don’t want to make something stupid

I think u already did the registration… u need to add more money in ur wallet in order to met the pledge

Looks like I need to deregister my stake key somehow, but that is associated with my payment address, I’m worried I will lose this by making a new stake key
Basically I want to change my pool margin fee hence trying to re-do this.
